Dementia and Memory Loss Friendly Openings

Dementia and Memory Loss Friendly Openings.

A warm, relaxed opening on the last Friday of every month, 12:00 – 14:00, in Tal-y-Coed — for people experiencing dementia or memory loss, and the people who love and care for them.

Our Dementia and Memory Loss Friendly Openings offer a relaxed, non-clinical space for people experiencing dementia or memory loss, as well as their carers, families and loved ones.

You do not need a formal diagnosis, and you do not need to know anyone already. There's no booking and no charge to come along — just somewhere comfortable and informal to share a chat, and not feel alone.

They take place on the last Friday of every month, 12:00 – 14:00, at The Halfway in Tal-y-Coed, near Abergavenny, with a small affordable menu and relaxed live music. If you'd like to ask any questions before coming along, please do — we'd much rather you ask.
